We are thrilled to introduce a brand new and engaging opportunity for your young readers: our Book-to-Movie Club for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders!
In an age where screens often dominate our lives, we believe that combining the joy of reading with the magic of cinema can be a fantastic way to inspire a lifelong love for storytelling. Our Book-to-Movie Club aims to do just that, fostering a sense of adventure and creativity while encouraging children to appreciate both books and films in a fun and educational manner.
Here’s what you can expect from our Book-to-Movie Club:
Club Overview:
- Age Group: 4th, 5th, and 6th graders
- Meeting Frequency: Once a month on a Saturday afternoon.
- Book Selection: Each month, we’ll choose a book that is age-appropriate and engaging. You will read the book on your own and then meet to watch the movie.
- Movie Time and Discussion: We will watch the movie together and then have a discussion where kids can share their thoughts, ask questions, and learn more about the story.

How to Join: If you’d like your child to be a part of our Book-to-Movie Club, simply call 719-846-6841 with your child’s name and grade. We’ll send you the details of our first meeting and book selection. Please reply by November 20th. If you know of more interested parties, please let them know about this new program.
First Meeting: Once we have our list of interested participants, we will contact you with more information about the book selection and the time of the first meeting.
