SUMMARY:Local Author Event: Christopher Bloomfield
DESCRIPTION:Christopher will share how a planned one-year family adventure became ten years on the road\, the experiences that inspired his travel memoir\, and a few of the stories from the road less traveled.\n\nBooks will be available for purchase and signing\n\n\n\nAuthor Bio:\n\n\nChristopher Bloomfield spent ten years traveling the United States with his wife and three children\, living full-time in a 29-foot travel trailer and eventually visiting all 50 states. Those years on the road became the inspiration for his first travel memoir\, Tales From A Wandering Fool: Stories of Family\, Freedom\, and the Road Less Traveled. Christopher is a travel writer\, travel advisor\, and is currently volunteering locally as a campground host at Trinidad Lake State Park.\n\n\n\nTales From A Wandering Fool\nBook Description:\n\n\nTales From A Wandering Fool is a collection of 22 true stories from ten years spent wandering America as a family. From getting stuck between bison and flying with a pilot who ran out of gas to strange encounters\, breakdowns\, terrible decisions and unforgettable people\, Christopher Bloomfield shares the funny\, frightening and sometimes ridiculous moments that came with choosing an unconventional life on the road. Beneath the chaos is a story about family\, freedom and what can happen when you stop waiting for someday and start wandering.\n\n\n-Christopher Bloomfield
