Local Author Event – Ann Marie Cannon

Local historical fiction author A.M. Cannon will discuss the history behind her new novel, Bedlam: The Case of Lord Simon. She will share what is known—and what remains unknown—about Tudor-era Bethlem Hospital, how she transformed the fragmentary historical record into fiction, and why the stories of those judged outside the boundaries of accepted society still resonate today.
