Warm up your winter with our Adult Winter Reading Program! ❄️📚
The program will start on January 19, 2026, and end on March 27, 2026.
Read books, complete BINGO challenges, and turn in your finished BINGOS to be entered into a prize drawing. Along the way, enjoy some fun winter-themed programs and activities at the library. It’s the perfect way to stay cozy, try something new, and connect with your library this winter!
- Earn 500 points, and you receive a hot chocolate and a bookmark.
- Earn 1000 points, and you receive a mug, pen & notebook.
- Complete BINGO for a chance to be entered into a prize drawing.
Here’s how you can earn points:
The program centers around four featured books. You’ll earn 200 points by reading two of these books. Read all four and earn 500 points. Here are the featured books:
- Brownstone, by Samuel Teer
- The Antidote, by Karen Russell
- An American Sunrise, by Joy Harjo
- 1776, by David McCullough
We’ll also be keeping track of how many hours you spend reading. You will receive 25 points for every hour you read, so keep track of all your reading time starting on January 19th.
Attend a library event from January 19th through March 27th and and you will earn 50 points for each event attended. For extra points, you can leave a review of the book that you read. You will earn 5 points for each review.
We will be keeping track of your progress on a computer app called READsquared. You’ll be able to enter your reading activities from your phone, home computer, or a computer at the library, or we can enter the data for you.
