The Trinidad Carnegie Public Library is pleased to announce the installation of a new public bike repair station, made possible through a generous donation from RevRenewables San Isabel Solar. Their support has allowed us to add this valuable resource just in time for increased community use of our outdoor spaces.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Nate and Bob from the City’s Engineering Department, whose guidance and coordination were essential in determining the best placement and installation needs for the station. A heartfelt thank you goes to Rich and his crew from Public Works, as well as Dave and his crew from Power & Light, for preparing the site and completing the installation.
The new bike repair station provides cyclists with convenient, 24/7 access to essential tools for quick fixes and maintenance. As our community continues to promote and encourage bicycle use—for recreation, transportation, and overall wellness—this addition helps ensure that riders of all ages have what they need to stay safe and keep moving.
I am always beyond grateful for how the different City departments come together to help create something wonderful for the City of Trinidad. It truly takes a team to put everything in place, and this project is a perfect example of what we can accomplish when we work together.
Thank you to RevRenewables San Isabel Solar, the City’s Engineering Department, Public Works, and Power & Light for helping us build a more active, supported, and connected Trinidad.
Come check it out next time you’re at the library! 📚🚴♀️
